Your BOUNCE POINT reading tells you where you are on the Head Trash Ladder of Healing.
The Ladder of Healing
The Ladder of Healing is a spectrum that closely aligns with the mental health continuum. It shows various stages of mental and emotional health, mental fitness and spiritual growth. In my theoretical framework, I align these various stages with the amount of head trash you have that needs clearing.
There are 5 different rungs on the Head Trash Ladder of Healing.
A summary of the different rungs are;
In my model, the Conker has the most Head Trash and is earlier in their healing journey than the Bouncy Ball. When a conker starts to heal, they soon become a Washing Ball and will move onto the other balls, the more they heal. Hence, the Ladder of Healing!

Where are you on the Ladder of Healing?
If you’d like to find out which rung you are at, then you can do the quiz here. You will be asked around 10 questions and then you’ll find out what rung you are at.
Not everyone starts at Conker stage. This is because we all have differing amounts of head trash. Knowing where you are on the Ladder can help you to figure out what you need to focus on in order to progress on the Ladder.
Let’s get more specific!
Now, I don’t know about you, but I like to get more specific when I’m measuring something. Preferably by using numbers! Perhaps it’s my business background and my need to track things with numbers. Everyone knows where they stand with a number!
That’s where the BOUNCE POINT comes in.
It’s a number that tells you EXACTLY where you are on the Ladder of Healing. So if you’re in between rungs, you can find out exactly where you are.
Where does the Bounce Point come from?
The Head Trash Ladder of Healing is very closely aligned with Dr David Hawkin’s tool the Map of Consciousness. Dr David Hawkins developed this tool as a way of measuring the level of consciousness of some one or some idea or concept.
Here is an overview of his tool and how it aligns with the Head Trash Ladder of Healing. Notice the numbers on the left!
Dr Hawkins says that we can take a calibration of consciousness of a person at any moment in time. So you can identify where you are RIGHT NOW.
It also means you can pick significant moments from your past to get a sense of how your consciousness has changed over your life. I did this with my pregnancy journey and it’s fascinating. You can read that blog (and see the accompanying graph!) over here:

This means we can use this as a tool to measure our healing progress. If you want to better understand the tool, the Map of Consciousness and how I use it to measure healing progress as part of my personal healing and my work with clients, then head over to this blog post:

The thing is, I like things to sound simple and easy to understand. And using a number called ‘A Calibration of Consciousness’ is a bit of a mouthful. Also, it’s not readily understood by many. It needs explaining. And who’s got time for that?
Whereas the idea behind a bounce point is VERY SIMPLE.
It’s your bouncability, your resilience.
The higher you calibrate on the Map of Consciousness, the more resilient you are. You can bounce back from situations more easily. And as my Healing Ladder includes lots of balls, this feels like a good way to describe the number.
But to be totally upfront and honest with you.
The Bounce Point number absolutely is the calibration number on the Map of Consciousness. I’ve just given it a new name. And I hope that by doing that, it’s easier to understand, and less of a mouthful when we describe where we’re at.
But those of us in the know, know! #winkwink ????
